WHAT’S IN THE BAG?

We asked our resident beach bum George “the Greek Hawaiian” Lividatis what to throw in the beach bag when he waddles down to the beach. We’re talking the essentials… the things that can prepare you for any situation when you’re planning to do a stint in the sun.

  1. Hydroflask X Onboard Drink Bottle - $50.00

Georgie has just been toughing it out working three to the beach on a 2 foot rip bowl, but lucky his Hydroflask X Onboard bottle has kept his H2O ice cold (for up to 24 hours). Or on the slight chance he's feeling like a warm cuppa, he has 6 hours worth of something staying hot.

  1. Salt & Stone Zinc Stick and Lotion - $29.95

To maintain his young, gorgeous complexion (and be sun safe); Georgie always applies the natural skin care products from Salt&Stone, to guard him from the harsh rays of above. The SPF50 sun cream lotion is both Australian-made and water resistant, as too the Face Stick.

  1. Vans Surf Trunk- $139.95

We’re talking boardshorts purely designed to be the ultimate surf boardshort. The Vans Surf Trunk, minimises all obstructions and maximises comfort to ensure that George doesn’t have anything in the way when he’s out in the water, jogging on the beach or lying in the sun.

        4. OG Snap Back - Town & Country - $29.99

It's a little extra touch that Georgie loves, something that will keep that sun off his noggin, keep his hair out of his face, and keep that great look. The OG Snap back has a dash of the past, but plenty of the present.

  1. Onboard Wetsuit Jacket  $99.95

1.5mm comfort, warmth and flexibility. The Onboard Wetsuit Jacket has a little extra warmth and keeps Georgie’s back safe from looking like a red lobster (please note: photo below is not George...)

  1. Black Beauty Towel $59.95

Georgie doesn’t want to get sandy, and also wants to get dry. The Black Beauty towel does both of those things… just with a touch of heritage.

  1. “The Shane Gang” – Memoir by Shane Stedman - $38

The crowd filled in a little on Georgie's rip bowl, so he decides to head in and park himself on the beach to read up and educate himself about the recent history of surf culture from one of Australia’s biggest surf icons, Shane Stedman.

Thanks George, you've been a great help
